Description

Cerimônia de doação do livro raro "The Hutsuls" sobre a história de um grupo de montanheses ucranianos que vivem nos Cárpatos que por longo tempo conservam suas tradições e cultura entre as outras etnias da Ucrânia no centro da Europa. A escritura do texto está em ucraniano e inglês, o acabamento e a encadernação, foram feitos manualmente por mestres da comunidade ucraniana na Estônia com apenas 35 exemplares, um dos quais foi remetido ao Brasil.

Participam: embaixador da Estônia, Mart Tarmak; embaixador da Ucrânia, Rostyslav Tronenko; ministro das Relações Exteriores, José Serra; senador Cristovam Buarque (PPS-DF); senador Antonio Anastasia (PSDB-MG); diretora da Subsecretaria de Biblioteca do Senado Federal, Helena Celeste Ribeiro
