English: Spanish Civil Guard Pvt. Pedro Javier Jimenez Lara, Grupo de Accion Rapida (GAR, or Fast Action Group), demonstrates assaulting as an element while maneuvering around a tactical shield with the Mauritanian Group d’Action Rapide - Surveillance et Intelligence (GAR-SI), while conducting close quarter battle procedures and door breaching as part of Flintlock 20 near Nouakchott, Mauritania, Feb. 20, 2020. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005.
