Description

Le plus grand trimaran du monde, 40 m, passe devant l’île de Penfret. Parti le 13 juillet 2016 de Québec, Spindrift 2 aura avalé l’atlantique en à peine plus de 6 jours à la vitesse moyenne de 22,1 noeuds sur la 9e édition de la Transat Québec Saint-Malo.

A l’issue de 3 212 milles parcourus, Yann Guichard, Dona Bertarelli et leurs 12 membres d’équipage ont franchi la ligne d’arrivée mardi 19 juillet 2016 à 23 heures 17 minutes 41 secondes (heure locale), s’emparant par la même occasion du nouveau record sur cette course mythique.
