Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sport climbing at Giggleswick Scar The great majority of climbs on the lower scar are now bolt-protected giving steep, technical but relatively safe outings on steep limestone. The climber on the right is on "Heavenly Whipers" grade 6c+ whilst the one on the left has just reached the lower-off of "Titter ye Not" (6c). Giggleswick is a popular choice at this time of year due to its south-facing aspect and sheltering trees. Above this cliff is another climbing ground (the Upper Crag) which is not bolted and not so popular nowadays.
