Description

I took this picture while driving back from Cherrapunjee towards Guwahati. The sun was about to set and provided us with the perfect light to take photographs. The color of the sky with the sun trying to peep in through the clouds added a lot of drama to the otherwise normal landscape.

Cherrapunjee is the second wettest place on earth.

Fun Fact: Cherrapunjee had recieved the highest amount of rainfall in a single month: 9,300 millimetres (30.5 ft) in July 1861.
