Description
English: Statue of Darius. The statue was made upon the orders of Darius to be placed in Heliopolis (Atum's temple) to show the man who sees it that "Persian man took Egypt". Xerxes brought it back to Susa after having broken a riot in Egypt.
فارسی: مجسمهٔ داریوش. سده پنجم پیش از میلاد. کشف‌شده در ۱۹۷۲. بدون سر، دو سی‌وشش صدم متر. دارای نوشته‌هایی به زبان‌های پارسی باستان، اکدی، و هیروگلیف مصری. ساخته‌شده به دستور داریوش در معبد آتوم مصر. بعدها خشایارشا آن را به ایران بازگرداند.
Français : Statue de Darius. Le roi porte une robe persane avec un poignard dans la ceinture. Les plis de la robe sont gravés en cunéiformes dans les trois langues officielles de l'empire: vieux Perse, Elamite et BabyIonien - et à gauche en hiéroglyphes égyptiens. Ces inscriptions donnent les titres du roi et indiquent que la statue a été fabriquée en Egypte sur les ordres de Darius
