中文：推背圖第2象

推背圖是由(周易)推演而成，每一卦象以八八六十四卦之一起始，六十卦占卜自唐初以迄的國運更迭。合計約推估中國一千八百年的國運。由於推背圖流傳久遠，其間不乏有人偽作版本，目前較為可信的為明末才子金聖嘆批注的金批本推背圖。

西元一八六○年英法聯軍火燒圓明園時，由清宮大內流出，輾轉公諸於世。金聖嘆於清順治十八年因"哭廟案"遇害，時為西元一六六一年，故金批本至少有三百卅十年的歷史。

以第2象為例 金聖嘆言：「一盤果子即李實也，其數二十一，自唐高祖至昭宣凡二十一主。二九者指唐祚 二百八十九年。陰盛者指武「明空」當國，淫昏亂政，幾危唐代。厥後開元之治雖是媲美貞觀，而貴妃召禍，乘輿播遷，女寵代興，夏娣繼之，亦未始非陰盛之象。」

唐，國姓李，圖中似有李21顆，暗喻唐朝21君主，圖中第四果無柄，暗指非男姓、非李而有天下（武則天)。

推背圖第二象內文解說：

籤文：

纍纍碩果，莫明其數；一果一仁，即新即故。

指唐傳位21代皇帝如圖象，一果一仁，即新即故。

其中一代即新即故是“武則天”，她像是革命的新皇，但卻是唐朝的舊帝。

頌文：

萬物土中生（起），二九先成實（承）；

一統定中原（轉），陰勝陽先竭（合）。

*萬物土中生：唐帝國是李家天下，李屬木，所以用“土”破題。

*二九先成實：指示大唐將擁天下290年（618~907）。

*一統定中原：這句只是轉折句，不是重點。

*陰勝陽先竭：。唐代帝王大都嗜好女色，導致女人篡位（如武則天）或女人影響朝政如(楊貴妃）事件。
