« Cette église est la troisième que construisit la communauté baptiste de Pointe-Saint-Charles. La première fut ouverte en 1868 et la seconde, en 1891. La croissance rapide du nombre de membres obligea une fois de plus à changer de lieu de culte. Une troisième église est inaugurée en 1900. Son architecte, Arthur J. Cooke, l'a conçue en style néo-gothique avec son plan triangulaire symétrique à partir de l'entrée. La communauté sikh du Sud-Ouest de Montréal a acheté le bâtiment en 1985 et y célèbre les offices chaque dimanche. Un repas est servi au sous-sol du temple après la cérémonie religieuse.
