Elizabeth "Betty" Brown, 56, was last seen alive on Friday 28 May last year on the No 3 bus in Nicholson Street, Edinburgh and thus was not killed by the winter. November 1-21.

• A Perthshire family were 'devastated' when a family of a father of 2 died in the poor and showy weather on Nov. 02, 2010^[1].

• A middle-aged Glaswegian tramp died of hypothermia whilst squatting a damp and derelict flat in Perth, on the 4th^[2]. A woman died and her 4-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a 2 car crash in Irvine, en:Ayrshire, police said^[3].

• The en:Gardaí were a crash which had en:County Galway that had killed 2 people due to some concerns surrounding the road conditions on the 8th. An spockesman went on to also warn of the hazards caused by decreasing seasonal daylight and a greater chance of encountering wet and slippery road surfaces. A Brazilian man from the Irish Midlands region drowned in an car accident that morning on the en:Offaly/en:Westmeath border. His car skidded off the road between en:Rhode and en:Rochfortbridge, the vehicle hit a roadside bank and rolled on its roof into the flood-swollen water of the en:River Monagh on the 8th[3][4][5]. Because he died on the border and it was not define wich side he was on, I coluord in both Westmeath and Offaly.

• The woman died in en:Pinderfields Hospital, after being impaled by tree branch as winds up to 90 mph hit en:Pontefract at 20.30 on the 11th, en:West Yorkshire Police said the woman. A man who was driving the car was also hurt in the incident at about 8.30pm last night.[6][7][8].

• A womon died when a branch fell down and crushed her car in en:Wakefield during the morning of the 12th[9].

November 22-31.

• The earning of the 26th of November saw a woman die in a vehicle collision on the A394 road in west en:Cornwall. A 4 vehicle pile-up on the M1 near Sheffield, during horrendous weather left 2 people injured and in need of hospital treatment.[10]

• A man died on the 27th, in at en:Lancaster Hospital, after jumping into en:River Lune at en:Halton-with-Aughton to save his en:springer spaniel dog earlier in the November day [11][12]

• A road crash on an icy road in en:Erdington, en:Birmingham killed a en:cyclist that morning of November 27th [13][14]

• Accross en:York City and en:North Yorkshire, around 50 schools were forced to shut, with several schools in en:East Yorkshire also closed for the day. A tramp was reported to have frozen to death in en:Leeds on the 28th. [15](dead link).

• A man died when a passing recovery vehicle slipped on an icy road in en:South Yorkshire, near Sheffield, on the 29th [16]. By midday on the 29th, drivers were advised to take extra care by the en:AA, en:RAC and en:police after the bad weather was linked to a series of accidents, with one man killed and two injured in a collision off the M18, near en:Doncaster in en:South Yorkshire. • A man who was killed in en:Ruskington Fen, near en:Sleaford, en:Lincolnshire, when his Land Rover left the road and ended up in a ditch on the morning of the 29th[21].

• A man died when a recovery vehicle he had called out earlier accidentally ran over him in Sheffield, during very bad weather on the 30th [22].

• On Nov’ 30 a man was found dead of hypothermia In Newport, south en:Wales, and froze to death after collapsing with a heart attack while in en:Carlton Rode, en:Norfolk [23] .

December 1-19.

• There were 3 decedents on the 2nd. A 30 year old woman in when she slipped into a lake In en:Pontefract, en:West Yorkshire. Some children playing by a local stream In en:Ewell, en:Surrey, and found a man’s corpse in it. The deceased bloke was thought to be in his 50s [24]. On the 2nd elderly man was found dead in his garden in en:Kirkby Stephen in en:Cumbria [25][26][27][28].

• 2 teenage girls died on the 2nd when their car skidded in to a en:Royal Mail van in en:Carlisle, en:Cumbria acording to the UK’s ‘Daily Express’ newspaper’s December 4th edition.

• A 80 year old Cumbiran woman was found dead in her garden near en:Carlisle, en:Cumbria[29][30] [31][32] on the 3rd. A en:Derry vagrent was found dead in his box in a abandoned en:Derry biulding on the 3rd. He was known by locals as a bit of an en:eccentric and a en:recluse [33](dead link).

• An old man died in en:Barnsley after teenagers taunted him and pushed his car into a snow clogged road. A motorist was run down as he helped a stranded driver in en:Bellerby, en:North Yorkshire acording to the UK’s ‘Daily Express’ newspaper’s December 4th edition.

• 2 blokes deied after they crashed thier car on the en:M62 motorway in E. Yorkshire according acording to the UK’s ‘Daily Express’ newspaper’s December 5th edition (pages 1 and 5).

• A man died trying to clear snow outside his home in en:Darlington, en:County Durham on the 6th [34] [35] [36].

• A 70 year old man was found dead in the snow in a caravan park in en:Cleethorpes on the 6th. - Man's body found in snow at Cleethorpes caravan park

• 2 young pedestrians died on the 18th after being hit by a en:Range Rover in en:Glasgow [37]. Mhairi Convy, 18, from en:Lennoxtown, and Laura Stewart, 20, from en:Cumbernauld, died in en:Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the after being hit by the runaway 4-by-4 vehicle that mounted a busy pavement in en:Glasgow city centre, behind the en:Buchanan Galleries shopping centre and next to the city's main bus station on the morning of the 17th. The driver either fell asleep or passed out due to ill health brought on by the both the weather and natural causes. The women were both students at en:Glasgow College of Commerce, en:Strathclyde Police said later that day [38].

• On Dec’ 18 a 17-year-old boy from en:Bislington, en:Kent, was killed when his car left the road[39].

• On Dec’ 18 a man in his early 30s, suffered life-threatening injuries when his Mini was in a crash with a highways vehicle, died after an ambulance being driven by a police officer left a country road in poor weather conditions and careered into a bush on en:Standard Hill, in en:Ninfield, police said. A man, carrying road equipment was also hurt in the incident. The accident happened on the A271 en:Boreham Street, near en:Eastbourne, en:East Sussex, at 2.30pm yesterday, according to en:Sussex Police [40].

• On Dec’ 18, a woman in her 60s, from the Inverness area, was killed in a three-vehicle pile-up in en:Huntly, Aberdeenshire[41].

• A 33 year old man died walking on out the frozen en:Doggetts Lake in en: Rochford, en:Essex on the 19th of December [42][43].

• On Dec’ 19th, a road crash killed 16 year old en:James Doran and en:Jordan Kenny when the car they were travelling in lost control on an en:icy road in en:Liverpool and ploughed into a en:garden wall. The 19 year old driver is fighting for his life with a en:broken neck. [44][45].

• A 15 year old girl died in a sledding accident in Douglas, en:County Cork, en:Ireland on December 19.^[4]

• A 35 year old woman and her 9 year old son were killed in a car crash on December 19 caused by ice & snow near en:Castlebellingham in en:County Louth, en:Ireland.^[5]

December 20-31.

• Dec’ 20th saw a 19 year old man was fatally stabbed in the neck in en:Sheffield after asking a group of psychotic teenagers to stop throwing snowballs at him and passers-by[46].

• December 22 a 48 year old man died from en:hypothermia, after sleeping overnight in the en:Bible Gardens, behind the en:Cathedral in Bangor en:North Wales.^[6]

• A 82 year old woman was found dead in a en:Banbury canlside snowdrift on the 28th[47][48].
