Description Das Alte Rathaus stammt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert und wurde ab 1677 im barocken Stil wieder aufgebaut. Nach der Zerstörung während des Zweiten Weltkrieges erfolgte die Rekonstruktion der ursprünglichen gotischen Gestaltung. Die Nordfassade zum Neuen Markt (Rynek Nowy) erhielt dabei einen vereinfacht rekonstruierten, durchbrochenen gotischen Ziergiebel, die Südfassade zum Heumarkt zeigt Formen der Renaissance. Im Alten Rathaus befindet sich heute das Museum für Stadtgeschichte.
