The Royal Cat of Siaivi. The Royal Cat of Siam is an odd but ratherattractive cat, from its graceful form, and fromthe peculiar, strikingly marked black head, tail,and extremities. Head.— The head is small and broad at the eyes, but narrows above at the forehead. The nose is long and broad, the cheeks narrow, and the lips full, giving a sort of square appearance to it. Eyes. — The eyes are almond-shaped, placed6 70 THE CAT at ail angle in the head, reminding one exactlyof those of the Chinese or other Mongolians ofthe hiiinan race. They are of a rich opalesqueIjlue, but appear reddish at dusk and at night.Ears. — The ears are large and wide, withfew hairs on the inside.
