فارسی: پیادهروی اربعین عبارت است از حرکت شمار زیادی از مسلمانان شیعه به سمت شهر کربلا، در جنوب بغداد، به منظور جمع شدن همهٔ آنها در چهلمین روز پس از سالگرد کشته شدن حسین بن علی، سومین امام شیعیان در واقعهٔ عاشورا.
در گردهمایی اربعین از جمله گروههای مسلمانان شیعه، مسلمانان سنی، مسیحی، ایزدی و دیگر آیینها هم در آن حضور داشتهاند. این رویداد بزرگترین گردهمایی سالانهٔ مذهبی در جهان است.
اردو: زیارت اربعین (عربی: زيارة الإمام الحسين ( عليه السلام ) يوم الأربعين)، روز اربعین کی زیارت کے ساتھ مخصوص ہے اور شیعہ عقائد کی رو سے ائمۂ معصومین نے اس کی بہت تاکید کی ہے جس کی بنا پر شیعیان اہل بیت اس کا خاص اہتمام کرتے ہیں۔
شیعیان عراق روز اربعین کربلائے معلی پہنچنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں اور اکثر عراقی یہ راستہ پیدل طے کرتے ہیں۔ اربعین کے جلوس شیعیان عالم کے عظیم ترین اجتماعات میں شمار ہوتے ہیں۔
English: The Arba'een Pilgrimage is the world's largest public gathering that is held every year in Iraq. This Ziyarah (pilgrimage) is held at the end of the 40-day mourning period following Ashura, the religious ritual for the commemoration of the Prophet Mohammad's grandson Husayn ibn Ali's martyrdom in 680.
Türkçe: Erbain Yürüyüşü çoğunluğu Şii mezhebine bağlı Müslümanların en önemli kutsal törenlerinden biridir. Her yıl değişik ülkelerden milyonlarca insanın İmam Hüseyin’in mezarını ziyaret etmek için Irak’ta bulunan Kerbela şehrine gitmesini içeren tören Dünya'nın en büyük kutsal törenlerindendir.
العربية: مسيرة الأربعين عنوان يطلق على تظاهرة شيعية ينطلق خلالها ملايين من الشيعة باتجاه كربلاء لزيارة الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب في العشرين من صفر من كل عام حيث يتقاطر الشيعة من شتّى المدن والقرى العراقية تشاركهم في ذلك الوفود الكثيرة من أتباع مدرسة أهل البيت من شتّى البلدان كإيران والبحرين والكويت ولبنان وباكستان و...، ويعتبر أكبر تجمع بشري سنوي وأضخم مسيرة راجلة في العالم.
Français : La marche d'Arbaïn est une grande marche des chiites en Irak à partir de différentes parties du pays vers Kerbala à l'occasion du arba'in pour effectuer le Ziyara de arba'in . L’Arbaïn, qui marque la fin des quarante jours de deuil après l’anniversaire de la mort de l’imam Al-Hussein ibn Ali, est l’un des plus grands rassemblements religieux au monde, avec environ 17 millions de fidèles . l’imam Al-Hussein ibn Ali fut tué en 680 lors de la bataille de Kerbala contre l’armée du calife omeyyade Yazid Ier. Bien que ce soit un exercice spirituel typiquement chiite, des sunnites, et même des chrétiens, des Yézidis, des Zoroastriens et des Sabéens prennent part à la fois au pèlerinage et au service des dévots. |
