English: The old post office, South Molton Built in 1809 as a Corn Market but converted to a Post Office in 1888. A plaque reads: "Post Office. John Galliford Esq. Mayor 1888". The building is still used by Royal mail, presumably as a sorting office as the post office is in Broad Street further east . |
