Those who cannot afford the time and expenseof a cross-continent trip, welcome these new havens of rest andpleasure. The busy business man and the tired student find restand recreation in the forest fastnesses of the North. The loverof out-of-door sports finds here the happiest hunting ground onthe continent, and renews his youth by the shores of still waterand by the banks of running streams. The great secret of the success and ever-increasing popularityvof these northern resorts lies in the fact that every one who shoots,rests, or recreates here becomes a travelling advertising agent forthe north country, and a fast friend to the Grand Trunk RailwaySystem which is opening new worlds to
