Description
English: The sun shines anew on the Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton, near to Wolverhampton, Great Britain.

This is the view from the ring road to the south of the stadium. This structure, redeveloped 1991-1993, will once again host top flight Premiership* football - but for how long? Wolves have been playing at Molineux since 1889.

  • I never could understand the logic behind "first", "premier" "championship" and "premiership" word wangles. Was it to make the third tier of English football clubs feel good about themselves by calling them the "first" division?
