The home of Théodore Maunoir

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Commemorative plaque at the place where Théodore Maunoir (1806-1869), one of the co-founders of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, used to live in the Rue du Soleil-Levant of Geneva's Old Town. It was put up on the occasion of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, which was chosen as the date because of the birthday of the movement's main co-founder Henry Dunant (1828-1910).
