English: Toll Bar Cottage, Roby. Picturesque Toll Bar Cottage still standing at the junction of Roby Road and Station Road and the last of Liverpool's toll-bar cottages. It was built in 1726 when toll collection in Roby began on this former Liverpool-Warrington turnpike (A5080)
