| Description |
English: Its December 2016 and the country is being hitted by a strong storm coming from the north. The capital, Athens, is surrounded by mountains with her north "wall", Mt. Parnitha, protect her from such storms. The main line to Thessaloniki crosses the north side of the mountains through Malakassa pass and her magnificent forest. As a result of her position, Malakassa was covered in snow in one night offering spectacular scenes. The monring traffic was running normally with the usual delays. Despite their major probles, DE2000 proved their value once more. In the environment that they were built and tested the main line locomotives ran through the snowstorm with no any problem or damage. Ofcourse, the train that stands is AEG dmu running local service from Lianokladi with its red color make a wonderful contrast with the white landscape.
