| Description |
English: Trent and Mersey Canal from Lock 59 north of Hassall Green, Cheshire. It is more than seven miles back to the Harecastle Tunnel, but the water still retains some of its iron oxide discolouration. An interesting line of young maple (?) trees displaying beautiful early autumn coloured leaves can be seen to the left of the canal. |
