Summary[edit]

Description
English: A flock of sheep and goats and a horse were on July 14, 2019 located a few hundred meters from the shooting point of Lille fireworks. The firing points were not visible because they were hidden by fortifications, but the animals could see the sheaves and hear the detonations of the rockets. It was interesting to document their reactions. The flock experienced a slight panic at the moment of the first shots with a rather messy race on the grassed field. Then after ten minutes the animals seemed to get used to the sound and lights. They went to the farthest part of the fireworks and positioned themselves almost all the time under a large oak tree at the end of the field. Most of them did not seem to particularly look at the source of noise or light. The young people seemed a little more excited (small races in the herd). At times when the type of rocket changed and emitted a different sound (crackling rather than hissing for example), the sheep reacted by being more worried, for a few minutes)
