| Description | The United States Postal Service Times Plaza Station (ZIP code 11217) at 542 Atlantic Avenue between Third and Fourth Avenues in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built in 1925. As of 2011, the station is not scheduled to be closed, despite complaints from area residents about poor service. Times Plaza is the historical name for the nearby intersection of Flatbush Avenue, Fourth Avenue, and Atlantic Avenue, so-called because the offices of the Brooklyn Times-Union newspaper were there.
