DescriptionUSS Boston (CAG-1) at sea c1955.jpg	The U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Boston (CAG-1) underway following her conversion, circa 1955-1956. Note her temporary Mk 25 Mod. 7 missile guidance radars that were later replaced by SPQ-5. The oirginal radars included SPS-8A, SPS-6 and SPS-10 on the forward mast, CXRX on the main mast and SPS-12 aft. Originally, it was planned to fit the large SPS-2 aft.
