Pensacola, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2004) – Navy Civilian Medical Records Technician, Jeanette Welch, boxes up medical records for safekeeping in the event of damaging winds and flooding to the hospital's outpatient clinic where records are kept. Naval Hospital Pensacola has canceled outpatient appointments through Friday and will have its emergency medical crews on board. Hurricane Ivan, a category four hurricane bearing down on the Northern Gulf of Mexico is expected to make landfall after midnight Wednesday with winds in excess of 150 mph.
