English: The election results of the 2016 Vermont Democratic presidential primaries, held on March 1, 2016, by municipal district. The contest in Vermont was lopsided; Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders won a crushing defeat over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, winning every single municipality in the state of Vermont. The result, which had been foreshadowed by reporters and political analysists for months beforehand, saw Sanders overwhelm Clinton through both the countywide and statewide vote, bringing home every single one of the 16 delegates that were up for grabs in Vermont. According to the Associated Press, areas which had a low voter registration were not reported from; these account for 9 municipalities on the map that are left blank.
