| Description | View of downtown Seattle, Washington, 1905. I'm guessing this was taken from atop the Post Steam Plant, possibly from up the smokestack. At extreme left, halfway up, are the Hotel Stevens and the Burke Building on the site of the present-day Henry M. Jackson Federal Building. The other Richardsonian Romanesque building a block to the right of the Burke Building is the Haller Building, on the site of today's Bauhaus-style Norton Building. |
