English: Caption on image: Nellie Juan, Alaska PH Coll 247.614 Port Nellie Juan is a bay located on the east side of Kenai Peninsula, 50 mi northeast of Seward. It opens into Prince William Sound and is named for Nellie Juan Glacier which, in turn, was named for the schooner that carried Capt. Samuel Applegate in 1867 as he mapped the coastline of Alaska.
