Deutsch: Schnitzbank, auch: Schnitzelbank, Schnitzpferd, Schnitzesel, Heinzelbank, Hoanzlbank, Schindelbank, Schneidesel, Ziehbank, Zugbank, Zugbock. Arbeitsgerät der traditionellen Holzbearbeitung. Der Klemmbock ist rund 70 cm lang im Gesamten und der Hebelteil etwa 7 bis 8 cm stark bzw. 4 bis 5 cm breit. Die Sitzbank selbst ist etwa 130 bis 140 lang, und 20 cm breit und hat etwa 2 bis 3 cm Stärke. Die drei bis vier Füße sind etwa 3 bis 4 cm dick und etwa 40cm lang. Die Bearbeitung erfolgt mit verschieden geformten Zugmessern (auch: Ziehmesser). Diese Schnitzbänke werden auch heute noch neu hergestellt.

English: Traditional woodworking tool. The clamp is around 70 cm long in total and the lever part is around 7 to 8 cm thick or 4 to 5 cm wide. The bench itself is about 130 to 140 long and 20 cm wide and about 2 to 3 cm thick. The three or four legs are about 3 to 4 cm thick and about 40 cm long. The processing takes place with differently drawknives. These carving benches are still made from scratch today.

Français : Outil de travail du bois traditionnel. La pince mesure environ 70 cm de long au total et la partie du levier mesure environ 7 à 8 cm d'épaisseur ou 4 à 5 cm de large. Le banc lui-même mesure environ 130 à 140 de long et 20 cm de large et environ 2 à 3 cm d'épaisseur. Les trois ou quatre pattes mesurent environ 3 à 4 cm d'épaisseur et environ 40 cm de longueur. Le traitement a lieu avec des plane de formes différentes. Ces banc d'âne sont toujours fabriqués à partir de zéro aujourd'hui.
