| Description |
English: (1 in a multiple picture album) The Virgin River Canyon is one of the most scenic, and missed, spots in the United States. Interstate 15 runs through this gorge which spans the southern part of Utah and a portion of Arizona. If one drives the 55 mph speed limit he can get a sense that he is diving down into the Grand Canyon. Here vehicles have excited the gorge and are nearing St. George, Utah. If you look closely at the center of the picture you can see a little piece of the Virgin. Makes you wonder how a bit of water can carve such a large and deep canyon |
