Description

El lunes 25 de enero, la Encargada de Negocios de la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Uruguay, Jennifer Savage, junto con representantes de la Armada Nacional de Uruguay, recibió en el puerto de Montevideo al buque United States Coast Guard Cutter Stone (USCGC Stone) de la Guardia Costera de EE.UU., la primera visita de este tipo en más de una década.

El Buque Stone se encuentra navegando a través del Atlántico Sur como parte de una misión de varios meses llamada Operación Cruz del Sur, y estuvo en aguas uruguayas entre los días 25 y 27 de enero de 2021.
