| Description |
English: The building of the vocational school of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. The building was originally built in 1942 as the friary of the Basilian monks. After the Soviet occupation of Hungary the monks had to leave the building and it became a state property. In the '50-ies a vocational school was opened in the former friary. Now it belongs again to the Greek Catholic Church and the building hosts the secondary school of the Saint Basil Educational Centre.
The picture is part of the archive of the Hajdúdorog Community House (Görög Demeter Művelődési Ház) which is free and available for anyone. Upon this reason it is in the public domain.
Magyar: A hajdúdorogi szakiskola épülete. A szakiskola épületét 1942-ben építették fel eredetileg a bazilita szerzetesek rendházának. Magyarország szovjet megszállása után azonban a szerzeteseknek el kellett hagyniuk a rendházat, amely az állam tulajdonába szállt. Az ötvenes években ebben az épületben nyílt meg a hajdúdorogi szakiskola. A rendszerváltást követően az épület újra a görög katolikus egyházé lett, és most a Szent Bazil Oktatási Központ középiskolája működik benne.
