| Description |
English: Wallfield Place, Rosemount. A typical street of granite tenements in Aberdeen. These have been decorated by strips of pink granite (Peterhead?) against the regular grey granite (Rubislaw?). The gabled tenements are 3 storeys high and have a "backie" or drying green at the back of each lined by a granite row of sheds leading to the former wash-house. The photograph is taken from the corner of Craigie Loanings looking towards Rosemount Place. |
