DescriptionWalwhalleya subxerophila40 spikelet4 (9249893169).jpg | Spikelets are 2-2.75 mm long and 2-flowered. The lower glume is 50-90% the length of the spikelet and the upper glume is as long as the spikelet. The lower floret is sterile and the upper is fertile; Texture of the lower lemma is similar to the glumes and its nerves have spicules. The upper lemma is pale and shining. |
