Description
Deutsch: Wappen der Gemeinde Lichte (Thüringen)

Gestaltung: Halbrunder Schild (spanische/portugiesische/flämische Form):

  • Wappen-Ort: Grundfarbe grün – in Anlehnung an die Lage von Lichte, in Thüringen, dem „grünen Herzen Deutschlands“.
  • Schildfuß: goldener Kompakt-Keil, Keilspitze Mitte Schildfuß – Symbol für das bis 100 m tiefe Lichtetel, wobei goldfarben für klare Wasser von Lichte-Fluss und Kleiner-Lichte stehen, die letztlich Namensgeber der Gesamtansiedlung wurden.
  • Wappenfigur: Hauptmotiv, weißer Leuchter feinem Porzellans mit goldener Flamme – Symbol für jahrhundertelange Tradition der Manufaktur feinem Porzellans im Tal von Piesau-Fluss und Lichte-Fluss.
  • Wappen-Ort: Wappenfigur/ Hauptmotiv (Leuchter), flankiert von vier Weiß-Porzellan-Ahornblättern – Symbol sowohl für die vier Ortsteile Oberlichte (mit Ascherbach, Waschdorf, Dorst und Hügel), Wallendorf (mit Lamprecht), Geiersthal sowie Bock-und-Teich, als auch and Teilhabe and Herstellung und Veredlung feinem Porzellans.
  • Schildhaupt: von goldener Flamme (Leuchter) ständerförmig ausgehende Strahlen im Schildhaupt – Symbol für Weltoffenheit und Export feinem Porzellans in alle Welt.
Künstler-Entwurf: Dekorgestalter G. Nussmann (Steinheid TH), Bildhauer G. Stör (Geiersthat (Lichte TH)) 1995, nach historischer Siegelmarke (4x4 cm) der Gemeinde Lichte, bei Wallendorf in Thüringen (1850-1923); Genehmigung Landesverwaltungsamt TH, 15. Juli 1995.
