Description
English: A carved rubble stone, arch-shaped monument with on the front the high relief of soldier Léon Schreurs as “last defender of Leuven” by the Belgian sculptor Eugène Aernauts and the allegorical woman “Unconquerable Belgium” inspired by the English illustrator Arthur Rackham, and on the back the stylized coat of arms of the city of Leuven.
