Deutsch: Wasserrad in Obertweng, Gemeinde Radenthein, Bezirk Spittal an der Drau, Kärnten, Österreich, EU

Dieses Wasserrad ist eine Wasserpumpe ohne Fremdenergie. Durch den großen Durchmesser des Rades und den dünnen Kolben, kann ein Druck von circa 50 bar erzeugt werden, wobei das Wasser 500 Höhenmeter (!!) überwinden kann.

Die Tagesleistung der Druckpumpe beträgt 600 Liter. Auf diese Art und Weise konnte auf höher gelegenen Almen das Vieh ausreichend mit Wasser versorgt werden.
