| Description |
English: Waterloo Bridge The longest of London's bridges at 1,250 feet, Waterloo Bridge was constructed during the Second World War mainly by female labour. Although traffic started to use the bridge in 1942 its official opening was delayed until 1945. Note the RNLI station on the far bank; this is a new facility only opened in 2006. |
