Deutsch: Die Doppelturmfassade der Neuottakringer Pfarrkirche am Familienplatz im 16. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Ottakring. Die dreischiffige Pfarrkirche Zur heiligen Familie wurde nach Entwürfen des Oberbaurates Alexander Wielemans von Monteforte (1843–1911) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Baurat Theodor Reuter (1837–1902) als neugotischer Ziegelrohbau durch den k.u.k. Hofbaumeister Josef Schmalzhofer (1835–1920) erbaut. Mit ihren beiden 68 Meter hohen Türmen gehört sie zu den größten Kirchen Wiens. Die Grundsteinlegung erfolgte durch Kaiser Franz Joseph I. am 2. Oktober 1894 und vier Jahre später, am 6. Oktober 1898, fand die Einweihung statt: [1]. |
