Man erreicht den Laaer Berg vom Reumannplatz aus mit dem Bus 68A, Station Urselbrunnengasse, die man bis zur Moselgasse geht und in diese einbiegt. Nach wenigen Metern bergauf geht der Weg linkerhand, man erreicht ein Tor, hat nach Osten, Nordosten einen einzigartigen Ausblick über Wien. Der Weg macht eine Kurve, man erreicht ein zweites hölzernes Tor. Das Gebiet ist Vogelschutzgebiet. Zurzeit quacken die Frösche im Butterteich. Man kann dort aber auch Menschen begegnen, die sich dem Liebesspiel widmen.
