| Description |
English: This drawing illustrates the offsetting movement of the Earth’s core elements (inner core, outer core and densest part of lower mantle) as Pangea moved latitudinally, according to the Gravity Theory of Mass Extinction (GTME). As Pangea moved away from the equator, the core elements moved synchronously away from Earth-centricity, lowering surface gravity on Pangea, thereby raising sea level near Pangea. Antipodal to Pangea, the opposite occurred: High surface gravity and low sea level. |
