English: William Whitechurch memorial, Harston church SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF MR WILLIAM WHITECHURCH LATE OF THIS PARISH AND FORMERLY OF THE ADJOINING PARISH OF HASLINGFIELD WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE THE TWENTY SIXTH DAY OF OCTOBER IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD MDCCCIX AGED LXXXII YEARS AND WHOSE EARTHLY REMAINS ARE DEPOSITED IN A VAULT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THIS CHURCH.
HE WAS AN HONEST AND UPRIGHT MAN, A SINCERE AND PIOUS CHRISTIAN. MAY HE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST BE CROWNED WITH A GLORIOUS IMMORTALITY. AS A SMALL TESTIMONY OF DUTY AND AFFECTIONATE REGARD FOR THE MEMORY OF THE BEST OF PARENTS, THIS MONUMENT IS DEDICATED BY WILLIAM HIS SON. ALSO SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF ELIZABETH THE BELOVED WIFE OF THE LAST NAMED WILLIAM WHITECHURCH WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE THE SIXTEENTH OF DECEMBER MDCCCXXXIX, AGED LXXVIII YEARS, AND WHOSE EARTHLY REMAINS ARE DEPOSITED IN THE FAMILY VAULT ABOVEMENTIONED. SHE WAS A GOOD AND SINCERE CHRISTIAN. MAY SHE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST BE BLEST WITH A GLORIOUS IMMORTALITY.
