Summary[edit]

Description

Willow Tree Alley, SW - the "toughest street within the borders of Washington" - as it appeared in the 9/11/04 Washington Times.

The alley was in the square bounded by Independence Avenue (then B Street), and C, Third, and Four-and-a-Half Streets. It appears to have been largely razed by 1913, and the site has since been built over.
