Summary[edit]

Description
English: Winwick Dry Dock. This is Winwick Dry Dock which was part of the Sankey St. Helens Canal (the oldest canal in England apparently). The canal in this grid square has been virtually completely filled in and only this dry dock and remnants of Hulme lock are visible signs of the canal's existence.
