Description
English: A monthly Welsh language temperance periodical that advocated moderation when drinking alcohol rather than total abstinence. The periodical's main contents were articles on moderation and the dangers of alcohol alongside news and reports on the activities of societies advocating moderation across Wales. The periodical was edited by the minister and man of letters, Owen Jones (Meudwy Môn, 1806-1889).
Cymraeg: Cylchgrawn dirwestol misol, Cymraeg ei iaith, a oedd yn cefnogi cymedroldeb wrth yfed alcohol yn hytrach na llwyrymwrthod. Prif gynnwys y cylchgrawn oedd erthyglau ar gymedroldeb a pheryglon alcohol ynghyd a newyddion ac adroddiadau ar weithgareddau gymdeithasau cymedroldeb o gwmpas Cymru. Golygwyd y cylchgrawn gan y gweinidog a llenor, Owen Jones (Meudwy Môn, 1806-1889).
