Magyar: A Zilah, 1940. szeptember 8 (1) képeslap hátsó oldala. A fénykép 1940. szeptember 8 -én vasárnap készült a Magyar Királyságban, Zilahon. 1940. szeptember 8 –én, Zilahon ünnepélyesen fogadták a bevonuló magyar csapatokat. A kép mérete: 12,5 cm x 8 cm. Hátoldala: (2). Szöveg a képeslap hátoldalán: Seres-könyvkereskedés ERDÉLY FELSZABADULÁSÁNAK EMLÉKÉRE Zilah, 1940. szeptember 8. (Ez eltér a budapesti Esti Kurir című lap cikkében írt 1940. szeptember 9 -i időponttól, melyet irányadónak vettem.) Sárai Budapest Rotációs Fényképsokszorosító. Forrás: Metapolisz Images A magyar Gyorshadtest alakulatai 1940. szeptember 9 -én érték el Zilahot. A fellobogózott város mámoros lelkesedéssel fogadta a bevonuló magyar csapatokat. Már órákkal a bevonulás előtt tódult a város apraja nagyja a főtérre. A tér középén álltak a fogadóbizottság tagja. Kivonultak az ősi Wesselényi Kollégium diákjai is. Magasra emelt zászlóval, melyet huszonkét évig rejtegettek a románok elől. Az ünnepség a Wesselényi szobor előtti téren volt. A szobrot a románok eltávolították, csak a talapzata maradt meg.
