- I am not sure about the exact dates - but even if it was pre OTRS... do you know this discussion about the usefulness of OTRS in general? en:WP:OTRS and en:Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries were not existing. Wikipedia:Requesting_copyright_permission read "Some would suggest such a letter unnecessary as we should avoid copyright paranoia and assume good faith." So, I think we can trust the uploader who is sysop nowadays and had no doubts himself - therefore my question at him. I now it myself it happens that you think of your own wiki actions quite differently some years later.
- Btw: the image is still here: http://www.northyorksfire.gov.uk/news-events/gallery/chip-pan-demo jpg. So ... if we have the strong need to get a OTRS permission... we could write them. Cheers --Saibo (Δ) 14:15, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
