Subject:Jon Lovitz image request for Wikipedia

Hello, I am one of the administrators at Wikipedia, the online free encyclopedia, and I was wondering if we could possibly use your image of "Jon Lovitz" (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rominaespinosa/2867513906/) for the article on the actor and possibly others. Right now Wikipedia is one of the top ten most-viewed websites on the Internet, and it is possible that thousands of people could see your image over time. Additionally, we would give you the credit on the image's page and include a link back to your Flickr page (if you wish), which would drive more viewers to your profile. If you give us permission, I would upload the image for use on the page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Lovitz (as the main image) and possibly other articles.

We can only use your image if you are willing to grant permission for it to fall under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Text_of_the_GFDL), the Creative Commons Attribution (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/), or the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/). If you gave approval, the image would be uploaded to look something like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Samuel_L._Jackson_%282006_Pebble_Beach%29.jpg

Let me know if the image can be used for the free encyclopedia whenever it is convenient for you. If you do choose so, please reply back saying "I agree to release the image "Jon Lovitz" under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, the Creative Commons Attribution, or the Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike." (whichever one of the three licenses you want to pick). If you have any questions, message me back and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

(By the way, just so you don't think this is some kind of scam or something, you can see a gallery of the many pictures I have got permission for from other Flickr users to use the images on Wikipedia here: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Nehrams2020/Image_Permissions)

Don't worry. I do not think it is a scam. I have already provided the pictures of a few others to Wikipedia. It is a pleasure of mine.

All of the other articles that I have provided the picture for have linked it back to my website. www.rominaespinosa.com

Here is an example of an article and where they link to: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Espinosa%2BSnow.jpg

If you would like me to, I can email you the picture.

Thank you so much for your interest. I agree to release the image "Jon Lovitz" under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, the Creative Commons Attribution, or the Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike. :)

Thank you so much for letting us use the image, and also the one for Brittany Snow. I always include that little scam notice since some people seem to think I am out to take their images from them and trick them somehow. I have uploaded the image, and you can see it at commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:JonLovitz08.jpg. If you click "check usage" at the top of the page you can always see which articles or different language Wikipedias are using the image. Right now, I've added the image to his article on the English Wikipedia.

Looking at some of the pictures in your set "Candids... Kind Of", I'm really jealous of some of the people you've met: Ben Stiller, Rainn Wilson, and especially Jenna Fischer (I'm a big Office fan). I was wondering if you'd be willing to let us use the other images in that set. I'd upload the images the same way I did for Lovitz's image and of course give you the credit and link back to your website. I would just need you to reply back again saying "I agree to release the set "Candids... Kind Of" under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike." If you have any questions about it let me know.

Sure. It's no problem at all. Thank you for linking it back to my website that's great. I agree to release the set "Candids... Kind Of" under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike.
