Identification[edit]

@Rudolphous: Hello. I don't think this can be H. fasciculare. With that one the gills start out yellow and appear greenish when the black spores start coming through. I think this could be H. capnoides or H. lateritium, which start whitish with a hint of mauve. If one could see the upper side as well, it would be possible to tell which is which (H. lateritium is redder). From above H. capnoides and H. fasciculare are very similar and I wonder if some of the others in this series of photos beginning "Hypholoma fasciculare 975..." are really H. capnoides. I would recommend "Category:Unidentified Hypholoma". Strobilomyces (talk) 14:34, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Strobilomyces: Hello. the upperside is here [1] [2]. Not sure if you had already found them. Rudolphous (talk) 14:58, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Rudolphous: Hello. Sorry I did not see your reply for a long time. No, I hadn't seen those other photos which should be the same species. I think they must be Hypholoma capnoides. Strobilomyces (talk) 15:42, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Strobilomyces: Made the proposed changes. Have a nice day. Rudolphous (talk) 05:36, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
