Austro-Daimler Armoured Fighting Vehicle http://www.austrodaimler.at/bilder/Nutzfahrzeuge/panzer-auto.jpg[dead link] Date=1904 First armoured automobile in the world. 4x4 four-wheel-drive. Designed and constructed in Austria ( Wiener Neustadt ) by Austro-Daimler company for the imperial (k.u.k.) austrian army. Today Austrodaimler is part of Steyr-Daimler-Puch company. Steyr-Daimler-Puch builds armoured vehicles (tanks). Current models: Steyr Ulan, Steyr Pandur.
