9 June 2026 - Intro Wikimedia Commons en Auteursrecht - Na bijeenkomsten in Utrecht, Groningen en Den Haag vond op 9 juni in Zwolle de 4e editie van Hip Hop in Nederland - De Wiki Files plaats. Dit is een reeks events om kennis over de Nederlandse hiphopcultuur toe te voegen aan Wikimedia-platformen. Olaf Janssen gaf uitleg over auteursrechten op zelfgemaakte en niet-zelfgemaakte (hiphopgerelateere) foto's en of deze daardoor wel of niet naar Wikimedia Commons geupload mogen worden. -

27 February 2025 - KB-beeldcollecties + Wikimedia Commons + Wikidata = slimmer zoeken & vinden - Deze concrete casestudy rondom de Stedenatlas van Frederik de Wit legt uit hoe dit KB-Topstuk via Wikimedia Commons en Wikidata semantisch én meertalig doorzoekbaar is gemaakt op titel én inhoud, en zo slimmere manieren van (onder)zoeken & vinden mogelijk maakt.

In the article Het gebruik van Delpher in Nederlandstalige Wikipedia-artikelen, januari 2025, we look at how often Delpher is referred to in which Wikipedia articles, and which Delpher pages are cited most often. We also search for Wikipedia articles that are entirely or largely based on Delpher. -
31 January 2025 - The Digital Library for Dutch Literature (DBNL) is a frequently used source in Dutch Wikipedia. In the article Het gebruik van DBNL in Nederlandstalige Wikipedia-artikelen, september 2024, we will look at how often DBNL is referred to in which Wikipedia articles, and which DBNL pages are cited most often. We also search for Wikipedia articles that are entirely or largely based on DBNL. -
16 November 2024 - In het artikel Tien redenen waarom de nationale bibliotheek van Nederland Wikimedia-gerelateerde publicaties van SlideShare naar Zenodo verhuisde, en ze ook op Wikimedia Commons plaatst legt de Wikimedia-coördinator van de KB uit waarom hij besloten heeft om alle Wikimedia-gerelateerde publicaties van de KB van de afgelopen 13 jaar van SlideShare naar Zenodo te verhuizen, en deze publicaties ook via Wikimedia Commons aan te blijven bieden. -

23 August 2024 - The article 10 reasons why I moved my publications from SlideShare to Zenodo and keep them on Wikimedia Commons explains why the KB decided to migrate all KB’s Wikimedia-related publications of the last 13 years from SlideShare to Zenodo, while retaining copies of them on Wikimedia Commons. -
24 January 2024 - Reuse indicators for KB images in Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, the 2023 update - Wikipedia is a very effective channel to globally improve the findability, visibility and reusability of images from the heritage collections of KB. This can be measured by three reuse indicators (KPIs). This article gives an update of of the growth of these KPIs during 2023.
