Miyajima

English: Miyajima was a town located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. It occupied Itsukushima, an island in the Inland Sea. The World Heritage site Itsukushima Shrine is in the former town of Miyajima. Miyajima has merged into the city of Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima.
